Tapping on the book cover should open it and it will read like other Kindle books on your Paperwhite.
Give it time to download if you don't see it right away.
Your Kindle will download the next time it connects to WiFi.” It should appear on your Paperwhite the next time you go in if you are connected to WiFi.
You should get the message “Your digital library book will be delivered to (your name) Kindle.
Select "Deliver to your (your name) Kindle".
Put in your Amazon ID and Password to proceed.
This takes you to Amazon login screen.
(you can also place holds for checked out books)
Select from the top menu to filter Kindle-available.
Sign In - When asked, your library card is the UPC number on the back of your card with no spaces and the password is your library password (which is the last 4 digits of your phone by default).
You cannot directly download books to Paperwhite.

You can download or place holds on books using SEARCH or the Menu.
Select the "Sign in with a library card" option as opposed to anything else.
Search for the Overdrive (: Library eBooks and Audiobooks) app and download.
Go to the Amazon (Kindle) App Store icon on your device.
Go to the Play Store icon on your device.

Search for Blauvelt Free Library (you might have the option to search by location also).
Search for the Libby app and download (your apple device will likely have you enter your apple ID and Password first).

You will need a library card and an Internet connection to create an account. Overdrive is a digital lending library for electronic devices. Read eBooks or listen to audiobooks online from a laptop or desktop computer using the Overdrive digital interface or on your cell phone or tablet device with the Libby App.
